Anti-Offline Raid System

We believe in encouraging online raids for a more engaging and fair gameplay experience. To achieve this, we've implemented an anti-offline raid system:

• Double Protection: When a player logs off, their base receives 20% of the normal damage to the base, at 12 hours offline it receives 30%, and gradually returns to normal over the course of 48 hours. This encourages players to raid online and to avoid immediately raiding a player as soon as they log off.
• Reduced Protection: For 48 hours there is some form of protection, damage or shoot the base with explosive to see if the base is protected!
• Normal Raid Cost: After 48 hours of inactivity, the base returns to the normal raid cost. (Subject to change if needed)

We understand players love to raid, and offline raiding is a part of rust. This system promotes online raids and gives players a better chance to defend their bases while they're online but still allows offline! Keep in mind, logging off during a raid DOES NOT work. protection does not kick in if you log during a raid!

Rules

• Communication and Behavior: Toxicity is allowed, but harassment involving doxxing or threats outside of the game or official Discord server is strictly forbidden.
• Spam and Advertising: Spamming in chat or promoting other servers, websites, or communities without permission is not allowed.
• Cheating and Exploits: Cheating of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes third-party software, scripts, or any tools that provide an unfair advantage.
• Raiding Rules (Linux-Friendly):
  • Offline raiding is allowed, but damage is significantly reduced when the base owner is offline.
  • Repeatedly raiding the same player’s main base over a short period is strictly forbidden.
  • Targeted griefing of players, including constant harassment or raiding with the intent to drive them off the server, is not allowed.
  • Spamming raid bases, TC triangles, or structures around another player’s base to block building or trap them is prohibited, including doing so with alt accounts.
• Reporting Violations: All rule violations must be reported with clear evidence (video, screenshots, logs). False or malicious reports will result in penalties.

• Q: Where do I find the Discord information? A: Check out below for server details.
• Q: What time zone do you play in? A: We have members from various time zones.
• Q: Is there a group size limit? A: There is no group size! Most of our players are solos, but we welcome groups! Alliances are plenty!
• Q: Is there a minimum age requirement? A: There is no minimum age group, but keep in mind most of us are working adults who have little-no tolerance for immaturity.
• Q: What is the server wipe schedule? A: Our server wipes biweekly, starting with the official force wipe on the first Thursday of a month. Blueprints will wipe monthly on the first Thursday.
• Q: What is the map size? A: The map size is 3500-4500 depending on server population. We welcome suggestions and input on how its working out.
• Q: Are there any custom maps or mods? A: See our list of plugins in our discord! We have considered custom maps, but have not done so. If you would like to see a custom map feel free to let us know!
• Q: Is PVP always active? A: Yes, PVP is enabled, but we encourage fair fights.
• Q: Do you have active admins? A: Yes, we have active admins who monitor the server and enforce the rules.
• Q: What are the server connection details? A: Join the server by typing client.connect rust.rustytea.com in the f1 console, find us on the steam server browser, or under the modded tab on the in game browser!
